IBSS, a leading developer of web-based on-line transaction processing tools and vertical application software products, joined the ZES channel partner program after utilizing ultra-wide band (UWB) technology from Multispectral Solutions, which has since been acquired by Zebra.
IBSS is now incorporating active radio frequency identification (RFID) from ZES into its healthcare industry solutions and evaluating uses for ZES technologies in other industries it serves.
IBSS has already implemented a solution using ZES’ active RFID tags to track critical care equipment at Greenville Hospital Systems, a 900 bed, 32 operation room facility.
